Hard Rock – SAPPORO SNOW FESTIVAL

Since 1974, Japan’s week long Saporro Snow Festival has brought together millions of families for a winter celebration featuring hundreds of snow sculptures, local cuisine and live entertainment. In 2018, with the help from creative agency 3 Minute Inc, Hard Rock Family Live constructed a massive snow sculpture uniting two fan favorite animated musicians Toyama Kasumi and Hatsune Miku for the first time. In addition to their live projection mapped performance, Hard Rock hosted a concert series featuring some of Japan’s top acts and its most talented youth performers. This is their story.
